CCI End of Year Awards 12-2011

CCI held it's annual Holiday party at the Oyster Bar in Little Rock on December 16th, 2011. Among good food and fellowship, the following employees had extra to celebrate: 

This year's Employee of the  Year  is Chad Cason. Chad is a 3rd year electrical apprentice that has been with CCI for over 2 years. Chad has overcome many obstacles in his tenure, but we are proud of him and his peers must think so too! Contratulations Chad!

Jonathan Patton was named Most Improved Employee of they year. This makes Jon's 2nd year in a row for most improved ~ that's a good thing! Jon is a 1st year apprentice, so hang in there Jon, your doing great!

Lastly, but not least, Pam House was name Employee with Best Attitude! Pam is a newby to our family, but has in her short time proven that she can defintely work with many personalities and brings a light, fresh flavor to our office. Way to go Pam!

Additionally, the following staff received embroidered Carhartt jackets to weather the cold (or lack of) this seaon. These employees have met their 2yr tenure in order to receive: David Andrews, Chad Cason, Collin Hammett & Charles Maddox. Thank you all for your dedication to CCI!

 

 

 

Spring Projects Underway 1-2012

CCI is in full swing on most contracts awarded in the Fall of 2011. These include the Pulaski County Detention Center Expansion, Ozark Medical Center in Clinton, AR, Camp Robinson Range 4 Hardwire, Fountain Lake Safe Rooms, the US Probation Renovation and Conway Human Development Center Network Expansion.

 

CCI Wins 2 Eagle Awards! Mar-2011

CCI is the proud receipent of two Eagle Awards for work completed in 2010! Along with other winners, CCI will accept the beautiful Eagle Awards in a ceremony to take place in Hot Springs April 2nd, 2011. Thank you to all the workers & staff that made these jobs possible!

An Eagle Award is given by Associated Builders & Contractors once a year to their Excellence In Construction winners. CCI submitted the Hilton Garden Inn for electrical over 500k, and also ABA Telecommunications Improvements for Interior Specialty Contractors. Read the project submission portfolios here:

CCI Certified for Ground Resistance Testing! 3-2011

CCI now offers Ground Resistance Testing!

We now have five electricians certified in AEMC ground resistance testing! Along with the certifications, CCI has purchased a new AEMC Megometer capable of printing testing results for our customers! CCI held it's annual Christmas Party on December 10th and we had a smashing good time! After a never ending dirty santa game, awards were provided.

LED Upgrade at Pulaski County Detention Center Dec-2010

The Pulaski County Detention Center is installing (85) Exterior LED Wall Mount Fixtures and (30) LED Pole Mount Fixtures. This project has a short duration starting in December 2010 and to be completed in early 2011.

 

LRAFB Commissary Parking Lot Nov-2010

CCI has been awarded a project located at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, AR. This project is estimated to start in November 2010 and consists of changing out several pole lights at the Commissary Parking Lot.

 

Centerpoint Safe Room Oct-2010

CCI will be performing the electrical portion of the project of Centerpoint Safe Room as awarded by Stonebridge Construction, LLC. This project is scheduled to start in early Nov.2010 and run thru the end of the year.

 

Renovations to B-344, LRAFB Oct-2010

In October 2010, AMR Construction, Inc. provided CCI of Arkansas the electrical contract for the Renovations of B-344 exterior project located at the Little Rock Air Force Base.

 

LRAFB Repair B-1260 Oct-2010

CCI will be performing the Electrical and communications portion of the Repair Wing B-1260 office located at the Little Rock Air Force Base. This project was awarded to CCI in October 2010 by AMR Construction, Inc.

MTC Storage Building Project Sept-10

CCI was awarded the electrical portions of the MTC Storage Building at Camp Robinson Base, North Little Rock. General Contractor for this project is Samco Construction Company.

 

Statehouse Convention Center Aug-2010

CCI will begin working with Austin Construction on the Statehouse Convention Center in August 2010. (Project Information coming soon)

 

Clinton Elementary Re-Roof Project Jul-2010

Clinton Elementary located in Sherwood, AR has a Re-Roof project currently underway that CCI will be undertaking the completing of both electrical and communications divisions. Electrical (coming soon). Data (coming soon). This is a two-phase project with Phase I being completed in late June 2010 to August 2010 and Phase II in the summer of 2011.

 

Employees of the Year Announced Dec-2009

At the annual CCI holiday event, employees of the year were announced for electrical and datacomm divisions plus office staff. Congratulations to Roni Lee (Electrical), Ron Keeling (Datacomm) and Doyle Moore (Office). During the annual event on December 12th, 2009, CCI had another terrific celebration of the year with its employees. Outside the EOY awards, there were also 2yr tenure jackets provided to 5 employees, many games were played, prizes, fun and everyone enjoyed good fellowship.

 

LRAFB Shopping Center Complex Dec-2009

Has received substantial completion on November 30th, 2009 after 12 months of hard work! We appreciate everyone’s dedication throughout the project. With a full completion scheduled before the end of 2009, this was a fast paced, intense project that started in Dec-09. Sincere appreciation to everyone for a job well done!

 

Armed Forces Reserve Center, Pine Bluff Arsenal

CCI was awarded the electrical contract for a new Armed Forces Reserve Center located on the premise of the Pine Bluff Arsenal. Expected to start in March 2010 and will take approximately one year to complete. This will be a brand new facility with systems of site lighting, primary power, data and communications, security, fire alarm and intrusion.

 

White Hall School Renovations

This project consists of adding a new gymnasium to the school, a new softball complex and two floors of classroom. CCI’s contract includes electrical, communications, fire alarm and lightning protection services.  Project start is March 2010.

 

LRAFB Bldg 314

Renovations awarded with start in November 2009. This project consists of a complete remodel of the Command Post Bldg 314 at the Little Rock Air Force Base. Consisting of new generator power, new switchboards, lighting and controls, lighting protection, fire alarm, intrusion and datacomm system with fiber.

 

PEC G1 Complex

CCI was awarded the electrical contract with a start in November 2009. Work has started at the Camp Robinson building that used to be the old canteen. It is under renovations to become a new education center.

 

UALR Fribrough Hall

CCI was awarded the electrical contract for this project with a start in January 2010. The electrical for this project stems from an HVAC renovation that will be underway.

 

CCI’s New Building

Plans still in works while budget items are reviewed. Original plans to be in CCI’s new facility this summer took a delay while reviewing budgetary items to try and cut costs for it’s construction. In the meantime, measures were taken on the new property to use existing structures for storage and larger equipment.

 

Seimon Certification

CCI’s data division is now Seimon certified! In October 2009, two technicians received training in Dallas, TX. This makes CCI one of few contractors in Arkansas to be a qualified Seimon Certified Installers.
